Bodee LLC has advised customers to immediately stop using its product, Zencore Plus. The product is marketed as an herbal supplement that enhances male sexual performance. In recent FDA tests, it was revealed that Zencore Plus contained undeclared benzamidenfil, a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor. Other PDE-5s include sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), and verdenafil (Levitra), which are FDA-approved. Though benzamidenfil is not FDA-approved, according to the company, it is likely to have the same effect as those other PDE-5s. Therefore, someone who takes both nitrates and Zencore Plus, risk a sudden drop in blood pressure that may be life threatening.
